Terms of Service

Effective: October 11, 2026  ·  Last updated: October 11, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using any CypherMission platform, product, or service (collectively, "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use the Services.

2. Authorized Use

CypherMission Services are licensed exclusively to verified law enforcement agencies, government entities, prosecution offices, correctional facilities, licensed enterprise investigators, and organizations that have executed a valid agreement with CypherMission. Access credentials are non-transferable. Unauthorized access, reverse engineering, or use of the Services for purposes outside your executed agreement is prohibited and may result in immediate termination and civil or criminal liability.

3. Intelligence Output and Daubert Compliance

CypherMission platforms produce AI-generated intelligence outputs accompanied by Verifiable Credentials documenting methodology, model version, accuracy rates, and cryptographic chain of custody. These outputs are provided as intelligence tools to assist licensed investigators and legal professionals. They do not constitute legal advice and are not a substitute for independent professional judgment. Users are solely responsible for how outputs are used, disclosed, or presented in any legal proceeding.

4. Evidence Handling and Chain of Custody

LedgerLock and AXIOVerify tools provided as part of the Services generate cryptographic credentials for physical and digital evidence. The integrity of that chain of custody depends on proper use of collection hardware and software as described in the applicable documentation. CypherMission makes no warranty that any particular output will be admissible in any jurisdiction and recommends independent legal review of chain-of-custody procedures before use in any proceeding.

5. Data Security and CJIS Compliance

CypherMission operates under a CJIS Security Addendum for applicable platforms and does not route Criminal Justice Information through commercial AI provider APIs. Agency customers are responsible for ensuring their own CJIS compliance obligations, personnel security requirements, and access control procedures are met in connection with use of the Services. The CJIS Security Addendum applicable to your deployment will be provided upon contract execution.

6. Intellectual Property

All technology, algorithms, patents, and intellectual property underlying the Services are owned by Lucid Tech Labs LLC and licensed to CypherMission. The ACI (Adaptive Compound Intelligence) substrate, LedgerLock evidence credentialing system, AXIOVerify collection methodology, and all associated patents (including US Application 19/680,696) remain the exclusive property of Lucid Tech Labs LLC. No right, title, or interest in the underlying IP is transferred by these Terms or any service agreement.

7. Confidentiality

CypherMission treats all case data, investigation records, and agency information as confidential. We do not share, sell, or disclose case-level data to third parties except as required by law or as necessary to provide the Services. Aggregate, anonymized intelligence patterns derived from network usage may be incorporated into the shared ACI intelligence base to improve accuracy for all network participants, as disclosed in your applicable data processing agreement.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. CYPHERMISSION DOES NOT WARRANT THAT ANY OUTPUT WILL BE ADMISSIBLE IN ANY COURT OR PROCEEDING, THAT THE SERVICES WILL OPERATE ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY SPECIFIC RESULT WILL BE ACHIEVED.

9. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL CYPHERMISSION OR LUCID TECH LABS LLC BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU TO CYPHERMISSION IN THE THREE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas. You consent to personal jurisdiction and venue in those courts.

11. Changes to Terms

CypherMission reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated to active licensees via the contact information on file. Continued use of the Services following notice of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
